At Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, our Institutional Sales team assists major clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, and high-net worth individuals with adopting cryptocurrency on a global scale. This team is at the forefront, demonstrating to major institutions how crypto can transform their business by introducing them to our comprehensive suite of offerings, including spot, futures, custody, staking, and more. Now, as we scale our operations, we are looking to grow the team by hiring the most accomplished sales professionals on the planet who are enthusiastic about the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency and the technology that underpins it. We’re on the hunt for accomplished Institutional Sales Managers to join our team remotely in the US! We’re seeking highly ambitious and skilled sales professionals to drive Kraken’s sales initiatives for our qualified custody and staking products and solutions.
The primary goal of our new Sales Manager is to grow our client base and drive new revenue through business development across the US. You’ll identify fresh business opportunities by employing a mix of inbound and outbound sales strategies while collaborating closely with the marketing, product and sales teams to enhance our product suite. This is a remarkable opportunity for a driven sales professional who wants to shape the future of crypto with a leading global brand.
The opportunity
Support the institutional sales across the US, drive client and volume growth for our custody and staking products.
Generate, filter, and pursue client leads, including responding to inbound opportunities and assisting team members in doing the same.
Build trustworthy relationships with our institutional clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Kraken can generate value for them.
Partner up with Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Business Development teams to provide market intelligence, develop new product features and leverage competitive advantages.
Participate in industry events and conferences to generate leads and enhance Kraken’s institutional brand presence.
Be a Kraken advocate in promoting our full product suite of products, services and company’s value to new and existing clients.
Skills you should HODL
Over 5 years of expertise in institutional sales, demonstrating a proven track record of spearheading sales and expanding business within the institutional sales segment.
At least 1 year of experience in a crypto organization selling financial products, ideally custody and/or staking, to an institutional client base.
As a complete degen, you have a deep knowledge and comprehension of cryptocurrency ecosystems, including its players, frameworks, and market dynamics beyond blue-chip tokens.
A robust personal network within the financial and crypto landscapes, with a particular focus on institutional and corporate clients.
Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems, conduct analysis and identify innovative solutions.
Interest about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends.
Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document.
Based in the USA and fluent in English.
