Requirements
- Troubleshoot and modify PLC programs using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 software or B&R Automation Studio
- Navigate and update operator interfaces for machine control using Allen Bradley FT View Studio
- Support retrofits, changes, and repairs with Service Engineering
- Identify obsolete components and suggest upgrades for customers
- Provide suggestions for design improvements or changes
- Integrate third party equipment into machine functions
- Travel to customer’s facility for troubleshooting, retrofit, and repair activities
- Communicate and interact with customers in a positive and professional manner
- Perform advance diagnosis and testing
- Perform repair, maintenance, or SLA services on equipment at customer sites
- Demonstrate flexibility to support customer projects with potential short notice and off schedule days
- Stay up to date on industry changes and information
- Support customers outside of normal working hours as needed
