Role Overview:
We are seeking an experiencedData Conversion Leadto manage and execute end-to-end data migration, transformation, and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background inSQL,Coalesce,Snowflake, andTableau, along with proven leadership skills in managing data conversion teams and complex enterprise projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead thedata conversion and migrationstrategy, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely delivery.
- Design and developdata extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)processes usingCoalesceandSQL.
- Build and optimizedata pipelinesinSnowflake, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand source and target data models.
- Createdata mapping, transformation rules, and validation scriptsto ensure data integrity.
- Oversee and guide the team in performingdata profiling, cleansing, and reconciliationactivities.
- Developdashboards and reports in Tableaufor data validation and post-migration analytics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate withcross-functional teams(developers, business analysts, QA) to ensure alignment and quality deliverables.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to the data conversion team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience indata migration/conversionprojects.
- Hands-on expertise inSQL (advanced level)for data manipulation and validation.
- Strong experience withCoalesce,Snowflake, andTableau.
- Proficient indata modeling, ETL design, anddata warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience withcloud platforms(AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Knowledge ofdata governance, quality frameworks, and metadata management.
- Prior experience inSAP, ERP, or large-scale enterprise data migrations.
- Familiarity withPythonor other scripting languages for automation.
