Business Analyst: Contractor

Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics consulting services and product firm that gives clients unmatched speed to value through analytics solutions and actionable business insights, is seeking candidates for a Business Analyst contractor with experience in the storage industry for our Consulting Services team. The role will require a 40 hour a week commitment for approximately 8 weeks.

As the Business Analyst, you will play a key role in working with the client to define their future systems transformation and roadmap. This role will include on-site client collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Structuring ambiguous business problems and supporting data analysis, business analysis and data visualization
• Collecting and reviewing available information to make data-driven business decisions and recommendations
• Building the foundation for the project by capturing the business context: the problem, current state, desired future state, business needs, and success criteria
• Chairing business requirement gathering meetings with business users and technical teams to identify technical and process requirements
• Documenting and prioritizing the business requirements
• Working with the team to build a strategic roadmap based on the business requirements
• Designing, developing, and testing dashboards
• Working independently with direction from the project leadership

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 6+ years of work experience is required. 4+ years of consulting experience is required
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Data Analytics, Engineering or related degree preferred; MBA is a plus; Finance experience a plus
• Strong communication and meeting facilitation skills
• Core Skills: Strong analytical, and presentation skills; mindset of “own it all the way”
• Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI – preferred); Familiarity with SQL required
• Must be able to travel within the US; ~25% onsite requirement
