Accountabilities:
The UX-UI Software Designer will be responsible for ensuring the design and functionality of software meets user needs and technical standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Design workflows and user interfaces that integrate seamlessly into software applications, considering technologies such as React, Node.js, Python, and MongoDB.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and offshore development teams to translate user stories into functional software tools.
- Conduct code reviews to provide feedback, suggest enhancements, and ensure high-quality code across multiple programming languages.
- Define critical testing components and deliverables for QA teams, focusing on functionality, performance, and security.
- Document code, user experience designs, and the development process for clarity and knowledge sharing.
- Gather and analyze client and end-user feedback to continually improve software usability and design.
Requirements
Candidates should bring a mix of design, technical, and collaboration skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development environment, demonstrating proficiency in software design and development across multiple applications.
- Familiarity with front-end and back-end technologies, including React, Node.js, Python, and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, workflows, and software usability.
- Experience conducting code reviews and providing actionable feedback.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
