As a Data Analyst II (Field), you will play a critical role in transforming raw operational data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. You will analyze complex datasets, create dashboards, and deliver clear recommendations to improve operational performance across departments. Accountabilities
- Collect, process, and analyze operational data to provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Conduct statistical analyses, modeling, forecasting, and predictive analytics to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with team members and management across departments to synthesize questions and provide meaningful answers.
- Monitor and ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across datasets.
- Recommend improvements in data management, reporting processes, and technology utilization.
- Complete market intelligence studies and present findings in a clear, actionable format.
- Participate in report development, testing, and enhancement projects.
- Support ad hoc data projects and special initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a business, technical, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, Excel macros, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to review large datasets and translate findings into meaningful insights.
- Knowledge of business process analysis concepts.
- Experience in visual report building, dashboard development, and working with complex data sets.
- Comfortable with statistics and diverse datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the insurance or risk management industry is strongly desired.
