This role offers the opportunity to drive business growth in the solar energy sector across Southern Europe. You will be responsible for managing direct and indirect sales channels, building relationships with key customers, and delivering measurable revenue results. The position combines strategic account management with technical expertise, requiring collaboration with internal teams to design, propose, and implement customer solutions. You will engage with industry professionals, stay current on trends, and use data-driven insights to maximize sales opportunities. Accountabilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand direct and indirect business opportunities across the Southern European region.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders in customer accounts.
- Promote solar energy product lines and consultatively identify customer needs to deliver optimal solutions.
- Negotiate and execute contracts and project initiatives, coordinating with internal departments such as Legal, Finance, Service, and Customer Support.
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, applying metrics, KPIs, and forecasting to achieve assigned targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, attend conferences, and collaborate with peers to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain a healthy customer opportunity funnel, providing leadership with insights to ensure maximum results.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or commercial experience in the solar energy industry; utility-scale PV experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong relational, presentation, and communication skills, able to interact with diverse technical audiences.
- Proficiency in CRM tools for sales pipeline management and forecasting.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% within Southern Europe and hold a valid driver’s license.
- English proficiency at B2 level; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, self-motivation, and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
