Tech Lead (Remote - Latam)

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to guide and execute technical projects across the full software development lifecycle. In this role, you will provide hands-on engineering expertise while mentoring and leading a team of developers. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. This is a remote, senior-level position that requires balancing strategic planning, architecture design, and day-to-day technical execution. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, embraces emerging technologies, and drives continuous improvement within the team.

Accountabilities:

• Provide technical leadership and direction for project teams, making critical decisions on architecture, frameworks, and tools.
• Mentor and support engineers to develop their skills and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate hands-on in coding, code reviews, and implementation to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to post-deployment problem resolution.
• Develop and execute technical strategy, balancing trade-offs between speed, scalability, and complexity.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance for improving systems and processes.
• Present technical work to clients and internal stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a technical lead or similar leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading projects from inception to completion.
• Expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS, JavaScript, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and scalable software solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and task delegation abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, industry trends, and team needs.
