This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse IT infrastructure and network projects for a range of clients in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. You will design, implement, and maintain advanced technical solutions, ensuring seamless operations and high availability across cloud and on-premises systems. Collaborating with project managers, senior engineers, and client teams, you will lead complex migrations, system configurations, and network deployments. Your work will directly impact client satisfaction by delivering reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions. This position balances independent execution with cross-functional teamwork, offering hands-on experience with cutting-edge IT infrastructure, virtualization, cloud services, and enterprise systems. Accountabilities:
- Deploy and manage IT solutions, including new deployments, service modifications, and high-availability infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain networks, firewalls, switches, wireless systems, and Active Directory (on-premises and Azure AD).
- Design and configure virtual machines, cloud services, and physical servers.
- Execute complex migrations and system configurations, documenting all processes for ongoing support.
- Provide technical support remotely or onsite, addressing client needs and ensuring service satisfaction.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to plan and deliver IT projects on time and within scope.
- Develop GPOs, configure Microsoft Entra Connect, and deploy backup and recovery technologies.
- Troubleshoot advanced applications, servers, and network issues, recommending solutions proactively.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in systems engineering, network administration, or related IT roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows configurations and services, DNS, networking, virtualization, clustering, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI).
- Expertise in Active Directory, M365 licensing, configuration, and best practices.
- Experience with Intune, Autopilot, and system security practices.
- Ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and orally, with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to document processes, write business correspondence, and present technical information to stakeholders.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and access to a vehicle for client site visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or ITIL certifications.
- Experience with ConnectWise, SCCM, or similar service management systems.
- MSP experience or subject matter expertise in specific technologies.
