Accountabilities
- Lead strategic planning, development, and execution of complex technical programs across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Oversee project risk management, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to ensure successful delivery of key objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners, to coordinate technical integration and harmonization of systems.
- Facilitate cross-functional team alignment, providing situational leadership to remove obstacles, assign tasks, and maintain program schedules.
- Drive vendor and partner engagement, ensuring delivery performance, schedule adherence, and alignment with project goals.
- Report program status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly and transparently to stakeholders and leadership.
- Support evaluation and integration of emerging technologies into current and future product lines, optimizing technical execution.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, with a track record of managing complex, high-impact projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and innovative thinking.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies such as GitHub, Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Project, or SmartSheet.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for work under U.S. export control regulations).
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for on-site visits to College Park, MD, Bothell, WA, or other locations.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and emerging technology integration is preferred.
