This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, scalable web applications in a dynamic, fully remote environment. As a Senior Vue.js Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, robust solutions that drive business outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects ranging from frontend development to full-stack integration, ensuring quality, performance, and accessibility. The position emphasizes technical leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement, allowing you to guide best practices and influence the strategic direction of key initiatives. Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable web applications using Vue.js and modern frontend technologies.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance on coding standards, architecture, and best practices.
- Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces across multiple platforms.
- Participate in technical decision-making, code reviews, and planning sessions to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Ensure quality through testing (unit, integration) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Assist in API integration and maintain clear documentation for frontend architecture and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years working with JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
- 2+ years of professional experience with Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Familiarity with development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and integrating frontend with backend services.
- Advanced English proficiency, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide engineering teams effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQL or other database systems.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Exposure to cloud services like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Understanding of security best practices (OWASP, OAuth).
- Performance optimization experience (caching, code efficiency).
