Senior React Native Engineer (Remote - Latam)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mobile engineer to lead the transition of a native mobile application to React Native. Accountabilities

As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will:

• Lead the migration of mobile applications from native platforms (iOS/Android) to React Native.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver user-centric mobile experiences.
• Implement features, optimize performance, and address bottlenecks in React Native apps.
• Architect scalable and maintainable mobile solutions aligned with business needs.
• Mentor engineers, champion best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in mobile development.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2+ years with React Native.
• Strong background in Android development (Kotlin/Java) and familiarity with native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and component-based architecture in React Native.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Proven mentoring ability and experience guiding teams on architecture and implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with React-Native-Web and Expo is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
