Accountabilities

As a Jr. Java Developer Contractor, you will:

• Develop and support consumer-facing web applications, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Perform requirement analysis, high-level design, and implement feature enhancements.
• Collaborate with QA engineers, architects, tech leads, and business stakeholders on multiple projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performance and scalability challenges.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and deployment activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of applications and processes through innovative solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Core Java (1.8), including Collections, Multithreading, OOP, Data Structures, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis, design patterns, and middle-tier frameworks.
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss or Tomcat.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with RDBMS like Oracle.
• Exposure to UNIX/Linux environments.
• Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
