As a Senior Data Analyst focused on customer experience, you will provide actionable insights and reporting that empower sales and account teams to make data-driven decisions. You will design and implement analytics solutions that enhance customer engagement, optimize sales processes, and support revenue growth. This role involves building dashboards, creating self-service reporting tools, and conducting ad hoc analyses on customer behavior and sales performance. You will partner closely with Account Managers, Sales Managers, and other stakeholders to translate complex data into clear recommendations. This position offers the opportunity to shape data strategy within a fast-growing organization, influence business decisions, and work in a collaborative, remote-first environment across the U.S.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations tracking sales metrics, pipeline health, conversion rates, customer engagement, and team performance.
- Build canonical sales reporting including lead-to-customer conversion, win/loss analysis, customer segmentation, and revenue forecasting.
- Partner with Account Managers and Sales leadership to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights that drive sales effectiveness.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses on customer behavior, pricing optimization, market trends, and sales patterns.
- Create self-service analytics tools that empower teams to access customer data and track performance.
- Train and support teams in leveraging data to make informed decisions.
- Maintain and enhance data infrastructure to capture the full customer journey and improve reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in sales analytics, customer analytics, business intelligence, or related roles supporting revenue teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field from a competitive institution.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience analyzing CRM data, sales pipeline data, and customer engagement metrics.
- Familiarity with Python or R; open to deepening knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Sigma, Tableau) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strong understanding of key sales metrics such as conversion rates, win rates, CAC, LTV, and pipeline velocity.
- Excellent data storytelling skills and ability to translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations.
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and focused on data quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with fast-paced, revenue-focused stakeholders.
