  • Implement and manage Azure PaaS services, including App Service, AKS, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Application Gateway, along with core infrastructure (Storage, Networking, Compute).
  • Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles using Terraform or Bicep for consistent, repeatable deployments.
  • Configure and monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and SIEM integrations (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
  • Ensure network security and hybrid connectivity, including virtual networks, VPN, ExpressRoute, NSGs, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • Maintain compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST standards, and continuously monitor Secure Score and Defender for Cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, manage incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement capacity planning and change management.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of cloud operations practices.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud operations, including 3–5 years focused on Azure PaaS services.
  • Strong expertise in Azure services: App Service, AKS, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Application Gateway.
  • Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, with proficiency in Python or Bash.
  • Experience automating CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of hybrid and cloud networking, including VPN, ExpressRoute, load balancing, and security configurations.
  • Proven experience in incident response, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and capacity planning at enterprise scale.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or DevOps models for change management.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks and security monitoring tools.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure DevOps Engineer preferred.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Flexible remote work environment.
  • Paid time off and holidays, with increasing PTO based on tenure.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Employee assistance programs, including financial, legal, and wellness support.
  • Career development opportunities, learning programs, and mentoring.
  • Equity or synthetic ownership options for eligible employees.
