This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior UI Technical Designer in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and implement visually compelling, intuitive user interfaces for innovative digital products. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including art, design, and engineering, to craft interfaces that enhance user experiences and support the unique goals of each project. The position combines creative freedom with technical execution, allowing you to take ideas from wireframes to polished, production-ready implementations. You will mentor other designers, uphold high UI standards, and contribute to a team culture focused on innovation, usability, and design excellence. The environment encourages experimentation, creativity, and hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced, remote-friendly setting.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with UI, art, design, and engineering teams to develop intuitive, minimal, and visually engaging interfaces.
- Conceptualize and prototype new interface solutions to support innovative features and solve design challenges.
- Create wireframes, mockups, animations, and interactive prototypes to guide development.
- Perform polish passes on existing interfaces to maintain high aesthetic and usability standards.
- Implement final interfaces in C++ (or other relevant code) to ensure pixel-perfect execution.
- Advocate for UI consistency, usability, and user-centered design practices across the product.
- Mentor team members, review designs, and maintain a high-quality standard across projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional UI design and technical implementation experience.
- Strong graphic design skills, including typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience working with clean, minimal aesthetics and style guides.
- Proficiency in C++, C#, or C for rapid prototyping of interfaces.
- Skilled in industry-standard design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and ability to communicate design decisions effectively.
- Nice to have: illustration skills, multi-platform UI experience, Figma, motion design/animation (After Effects), HTML Flexbox knowledge, degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, or Fine Arts.
