This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect in the United States.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions for diverse clients in a dynamic, multi-channel environment. You will lead architecture and integration efforts, ensuring clients maximize the value of their Salesforce investments. Acting as a technical subject matter expert, you will guide client implementations, provide thought leadership, and enable best practices across teams. The position requires strong consulting, analytical, and communication skills to deliver high-impact solutions, while managing multiple projects simultaneously. This is a fully remote role, offering autonomy and collaboration with both US-based and international teams. You will contribute to reusable architecture, drive efficiency, and influence strategic decisions that shape client success.
Accountabilities
- On-board clients from other ESPs or home-grown systems into Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Audit existing SFMC accounts to optimize client investment and adoption.
- Maintain ongoing client relationships, addressing evolving SFMC needs.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and provide thought leadership.
- Champion reusable architecture assets to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Lead project teams across multiple locations, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing time and resources effectively.
- Produce blueprints and documentation to communicate architecture and technical solutions.
- Present complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on, client-facing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) experience.
- Expertise in Enterprise 2.0 accounts, SFMC studios, and key features.
- Strong experience with Automations, Triggers, and Life-cycle journeys in SFMC.
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and data integration concepts.
- Understanding of data structures, schema normalization, and integrating disparate sources into SFMC is highly desirable.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification is a plus.
- Experience with Marketing Cloud Connector and other Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) is advantageous.
- Strong consulting, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
