We are seeking a Portfolio Solution Architect to design and implement comprehensive technology solutions that align with strategic business goals and client needs. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative solutions. You will lead technical teams, provide architectural guidance, and continuously assess and optimize portfolio strategies. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices to deliver high-value solutions. Remote work may be available depending on location, offering flexibility while maintaining collaboration with diverse teams.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective portfolio solutions.
- Design, architect, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure portfolio solutions that align with business objectives.
- Lead project teams throughout the solution lifecycle, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance solution delivery.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure alignment across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Development Leader, with a focus on portfolio management and business strategy.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulations (personal lines preferred).
- Demonstrated experience designing composite solutions involving multiple technologies and platforms.
- Technical expertise in Java, REST Services, SQL, and industry-leading platforms for Policy, Claims, Billing, CRM, and digital engagement.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise architecture frameworks, and agile methodologies.
- Focus on Cyber Security, PCI Compliance, and governance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to innovate within structured environments.
