We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of a fast-growing software platform. In this role, you will define and execute test plans, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to maintain high-quality standards. You will play a key part in evaluating product functionality, troubleshooting issues, and recommending improvements. This position offers exposure to modern testing methodologies and tools in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your attention to detail and analytical skills will directly contribute to product excellence and client satisfaction.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain test plans and test cases based on user stories, technical design, and implementation.
- Execute tests, document results, and reproduce issues to ensure accurate defect reporting.
- Identify, record, and track internal and external defects, prioritizing test cases effectively.
- Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate product robustness, functionality, and usability.
- Contribute to automated testing systems, analyzing outputs and improving testing processes.
- Communicate quality issues, provide actionable recommendations, and collaborate with management and engineering teams.
- Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, and thorough documentation practices.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with familiarity in modern testing methodologies.
- Understanding of software quality assurance fundamentals and various types of testing.
- Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, QA Touch) preferred.
- Experience with screen capture and recording tools such as SnagIt or Camtasia.
- Some programming experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Meticulous, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
