We are seeking a Managing Engineer to lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of digital products using modern tools and technologies. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, guiding medium to large engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. The Managing Engineer will collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate user needs into robust system designs while ensuring adherence to best practices, KPIs, and technical standards. You will be accountable for the success of digital products, driving innovation, fostering knowledge sharing, and mentoring team members in a dynamic and results-oriented environment.
Accountabilities:
- Lead architecture and design efforts for digital products, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Participate in product scoping, discovery, and technical planning, providing expert input on system design.
- Facilitate retrospectives, standups, and iteration planning, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Guide teams in selecting appropriate technologies, solving complex technical problems, and resolving conflicts.
- Establish and maintain continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
- Align strategies and collaborate across product portfolios with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Share expertise across multiple technology stacks and business domains, contributing to collective knowledge growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with demonstrated leadership of medium to large teams.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.
- Proficiency in modern development frameworks, languages, and tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, technical mentoring, and collaborative team leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to plan, direct, and manage complex technical projects while meeting KPIs and deadlines.
- Experience with continuous integration, deployment pipelines, and scalable software solutions.
