The Senior Associate, National Implementation Manager will lead the successful onboarding and implementation of large-scale employee benefits programs for national clients. This role provides the opportunity to coordinate across multiple product lines, ensuring a seamless client experience while managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration. You will act as a trusted partner to internal teams and clients, proactively resolving issues, driving process improvements, and maintaining compliance with legal and contractual requirements. Accountabilities
- Coordinate end-to-end implementation for newly sold or renewing clients, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones.
- Develop and maintain project plans and implementation calendars, facilitating meetings and communicating deadlines to internal teams, brokers, and clients.
- Serve as a liaison between Sales, Client Management, Legal, Underwriting, and Operations to ensure alignment of goals, documentation, and service delivery.
- Review enrollment and policy materials for accuracy and compliance, securing necessary approvals from clients.
- Execute communication and enrollment strategies, collaborating with marketing and operations to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Identify and resolve potential roadblocks, escalating issues as needed to maintain project momentum.
- Support process improvement initiatives, knowledge-sharing, and internal training efforts to enhance team efficiency.
- Champion client experience by maintaining transparency, responsiveness, and a solution-oriented approach throughout the implementation process.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in benefits implementation, client onboarding, or project coordination; insurance or healthcare experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
- Familiarity with group insurance products (life, accident, disability) and administrative processes.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills for engaging clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating across departments in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with focus on service excellence and client satisfaction.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet, Salesforce) preferred.
- Ability to identify process gaps and recommend improvements based on client and team feedback.
