This role provides a unique opportunity to lead and manage the cybersecurity strategy for a dynamic organization, ensuring the protection of critical information systems, networks, and data. The Manager, IT Cyber Security will develop and enforce security policies, monitor for vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents, while collaborating closely with IT and business teams. This position combines hands-on technical responsibilities with leadership, including overseeing incident response and aligning security initiatives with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, policies, and practices.
- Oversee incident response from detection to mitigation, conducting root cause analysis and remediation.
- Monitor and analyze security events through SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT functions and business units to integrate security controls into systems and processes.
- Develop and deliver employee security awareness training and promote a culture of cybersecurity.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and internal audit obligations.
Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity management.
- 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Hands-on experience with EDR/MDR, email security, SIEM tools, and network/system administration.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and CIS Controls.
- Familiarity with cloud security, networking protocols, and web application security.
- Relevant certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
