Accountabilities:
The Java with DevOps Engineer will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining Java-based backend applications using frameworks such as Spring Boot and REST APIs.
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing DevOps pipelines with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform.
- Collaborating with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP to deploy, monitor, and scale applications.
- Participating in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality, maintainable software.
- Supporting team members with technical guidance and contributing to knowledge sharing across projects.
- Applying best practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
Requirements
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Java development and backend programming.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and practices including containerization, CI/CD, cloud deployment, and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and RESTful API design.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
