This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IAM Security Analyst in the United States.
In this role, you will play a key part in the implementation and management of enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) programs, ensuring secure access and regulatory compliance across critical systems. You will work closely with technical, compliance, and business teams to support IAM integrations, certifications, and process improvements, helping to reduce risk and maintain secure operations. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that combines technical expertise with analytical problem-solving, offering the chance to make a tangible impact on security posture in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment. Your contributions will directly influence the efficiency, reliability, and safety of identity and access operations across the organization.
Accountabilities
- Act as an IAM subject matter expert, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement in identity and access management.
- Manage user access certifications (UACs) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as SOX.
- Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to align access management practices with corporate policies.
- Define roles and entitlements across applications and platforms.
- Maintain metrics and documentation for IAM integrations, certifications, and processes.
- Participate in security projects, including UAT for IAM implementations and updates.
- Liaise between business and IT teams to resolve access-related issues, implement role models, and enforce IAM standards.
- Analyze root causes for provisioning/de-provisioning activities and recommend improvements to reduce risk and enhance security.
- Develop and improve processes to support identity governance, controls, data quality, and compliance.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive IAM initiatives to completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Exposure to IAM tools such as SailPoint, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), and Okta.
- Experience crafting process documentation and developing business roles and procedures.
- Familiarity with policy, regulatory, and information security environments.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP or similar security credential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong analytical skills: identify issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to influence peers and leadership indirectly.
- Understanding of IAM principles, including access governance, role management, and SSO.
