This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Lead Software Developer (EDI Technical) in India.
This is a highly specialized technical role focused on designing, developing, and supporting enterprise B2B integrations and EDI solutions. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, implement end-to-end integrations, and onboard trading partners using a variety of data formats including X12, EDIFACT, XML, and flat files. The role requires hands-on expertise in IBM Sterling Integrator, mapping tools, and secure communication protocols. You will also be responsible for production monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and SLA standards. This position offers an environment where you can influence critical supply chain processes and lead technical excellence.
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain B2B integrations using IBM Sterling Integrator and SI Mapper.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver end-to-end EDI/B2B solutions.
- Onboard and manage trading partners for EDI (X12, EDIFACT) and other data formats (XML, CSV, flat files).
- Monitor production integrations for performance, failures, and SLA compliance, and proactively resolve issues.
- Perform Sterling Integrator upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Manage security aspects including certificates, encryption, and secure communications (AS2, SFTP, HTTPS).
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for maps, process flows, and integration implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field with 6+ years of hands-on experience.
- Strong experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and IBM Mapping tool.
- Expertise in EDI messages (X12, EDIFACT), XML, mapping, and transformation processes.
- Knowledge of communication, authentication, and authorization protocols such as AS2, SFTP, MFT, PGP, and SSH.
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues promptly and effectively.
- Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills for interfacing with infrastructure, security, and development teams.
- Preferred: experience with hybrid cloud/on-prem environments, other B2B tools (Axway, SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft), mentoring or leading small teams, SAP ECC Netweaver (IDOCs, tRFCs, ALE), Azure DevOps pipelines, and supply chain processes in aerospace environments.
