Full Stack Engineer (Next.js/JS/TS/PostgreSQL) (Remote - Latam)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Engineer (Next.js/JS/TS/PostgreSQL) in Latin America.

Join a long-term, high-impact project focused on evolving and scaling digital platforms in a remote-first, collaborative environment. In this senior role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex web applications while solving challenging technical problems. You will work across the full stack with JavaScript, TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud technologies, collaborating closely with developers, data scientists, and DevOps teams. The role offers autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to implement efficient, scalable solutions that drive meaningful business impact. You will also contribute to CI/CD processes, cloud infrastructure, and performance optimization, all while working in a supportive, growth-oriented remote environment.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Work with PostgreSQL at an advanced level, including raw queries, optimization, and stored procedures.
• Translate business requirements into efficient, well-structured technical implementations.
• Manipulate and process data using Spark, Databricks notebooks, and ETL pipelines.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions.
• Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and RDS for deployment and processing.
• Utilize SST (Serverless Stack Toolkit) for cloud infrastructure and deployment.
• Support CI/CD processes, contributing to DevOps best practices.
• Detect and resolve performance issues, vulnerabilities, and bottlenecks proactively.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a JavaScript and TypeScript developer.
• Deep expertise in Next.js and modern JavaScript principles.
• Advanced SQL skills with strong PostgreSQL experience, including queries, optimization, and stored procedures.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Proficiency with React and frontend build tools.
• CSS and Tailwind CSS styling experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Clear and concise communication of technical concepts.
• Nice to have: experience with Spark, Databricks, ETL pipelines, AWS services, SST for serverless deployments, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
