We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer w/Ruby on Rails to work on end-to-end software solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role involves modernizing multiple applications for a federal government client, contributing across the full technology stack, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will work with technologies such as React, Ruby, JavaScript, Java, Python, Typescript, and AWS to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable applications. Accountabilities:
The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for delivering robust, end-to-end solutions and supporting the development lifecycle from concept to production. Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications.
- Build and maintain full stack features, including both front-end and back-end components.
- Develop new features using acceptance test-driven development and pair programming methodologies.
- Ensure quality through automated unit, integration, functional, and UI tests.
- Collaborate with small, cross-functional feature teams to deliver end-to-end customer solutions.
- Develop and maintain API specifications and microservices using AWS cloud and open-source technologies.
- Participate in product strategy, design, and development activities using lean and agile methodologies.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in full stack development.
- Proficiency with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and back-end technologies (Ruby, Java, Python).
- Experience with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with Git-based repositories like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Agile development experience and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Preferred: experience with Java Spring Boot, Python Django, AWS cloud services, Cloud Foundry, and React.

- Salary range of $103,000 - $150,000, based on experience and skills.
