Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote - US)

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and securing advanced cloud environments across major platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll collaborate with technical and client-facing teams to implement scalable and secure architectures, automate infrastructure management, and enable digital transformation initiatives. Accountabilities:

• Act as the cloud subject matter expert, guiding clients through design, architecture, and deployment across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and implement automated orchestration and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Design and deploy secure and compliant cloud architectures, integrating Infrastructure-as-Code and best-in-class security controls.
• Build and integrate security tooling solutions such as Tenable, Trend Micro, AquaSec, Microsoft Defender, and Burp Suite.
• Conduct cloud configuration and maturity assessments, providing strategic recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to balance performance, scalability, and compliance requirements.
• Author and review technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and security frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
• Partner with cloud service providers and enterprises to support security authorization processes and modernization efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in systems engineering and cloud architecture design.
• Proven experience deploying and managing solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Strong background with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Expertise in cloud security, DevOps, or infrastructure automation with a deep understanding of CSP native services.
• Solid knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, FedRAMP, HIPAA, or PCI.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to work effectively in Agile teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Bonus: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, experience with GitHub/GitLab automation, or exposure to serverless and microservices architectures.
