This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Services Manager in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the management, processing, and analysis of complex client data to support impactful campaigns and initiatives. The Data Services Manager will work closely with client services and production teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery across multiple projects. You will leverage software tools, custom coding, and reporting methods to maintain high-quality client data for direct mail and digital campaigns. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, technically skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and enjoys collaborating with multiple teams to deliver precise, actionable insights. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring data supports strategic decision-making and operational success.
Accountabilities:
- Manage the movement and processing of client data, including file conversion, segmentation, merge/purge, data cleansing, CASS/NCOA/ANKlink, Nth selects, and appends.
- Oversee source code builds, scanline/check digit builds, ask string builds, and salutation/full name builds.
- Perform data analysis, including matchback file returns, test file and sample file creation, and general reporting.
- Ensure data quality, troubleshoot validation issues, and provide accurate, timely reports to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with account services and production staff to deliver front-end data services and support client requests.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting requests, analytical reports, and billing processes.
- Learn and apply new programming languages and software as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data programming and reporting using tools such as Visual FoxPro, Accuzip, Stylist, Personator, and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-volume environments and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- Experience working directly with users and management to gather requirements and proactively respond to requests.
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
- Passion for making a positive impact through data-driven solutions.
- Nice-to-have: experience with fundraising CRM platforms (NGP, Salesforce NPSP, Blackbaud CRM, EveryAction, Raiser’s Edge), data warehousing and SQL querying, ETL/ELT processes, JavaScript/Python, dashboard creation (Tableau, Klipfolio, Power BI), version control tools (GitHub, BitBucket), or marketing agency experience.
