This role is ideal for a full-stack developer passionate about building and enhancing software solutions that directly impact end users. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of financial applications, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, utilizing modern coding practices, APIs, and web technologies. This position offers the opportunity to engage with innovative technologies, including AI, and play a key role throughout the software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
Accountabilities
- Build, consume, document, and integrate APIs across development, test, and production environments.
- Develop widgets, microservices, and web-based applications to enhance platform functionality.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and follow defined requirements to deliver effective software solutions.
- Assist with code documentation, development process tracking, and integration with ancillary applications.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols, encryption standards, and regulatory compliance (BSA/AML/OFAC).
- Support AI technology integration and maintain familiarity with modern software development trends.
- Participate in monthly on-call rotation and assist with special projects as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with team members and maintain ethical, collaborative work practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in .NET architecture and object-oriented programming with C# or VB.NET.
- Familiarity with web technologies, including ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, and client-side scripting (JavaScript, jQuery).
- Knowledge of SQL; experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS packages is a plus.
- Experience using IDEs and version/source control tools.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, XML/XSLT, SOAP, and web services.
- Awareness of Symitar systems such as PowerOn, OpCon, SymXchange, SymConnect, and ARCU is desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
