Data Scientist - Data-as-a-Service

As a Data Scientist in a Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) environment, you will work at the intersection of data science, engineering, and AI operations to deliver high-quality AI/ML data products. You will partner with clients and internal teams to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring datasets meet quality, performance, and production standards. This role involves both technical execution and client-facing responsibilities, including pre-sales support, project scoping, and solution delivery. You will apply ML-assisted workflows, synthetic data generation, and rigorous evaluation frameworks to improve efficiency and outcomes. The position offers opportunities to influence technical strategy, adopt innovative approaches, and collaborate across a fast-paced, high-impact environment that directly supports AI initiatives at scale.

Accountabilities

• Collaborate with sales and client teams to define technical requirements, scope projects, and demonstrate feasibility of DaaS solutions.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain ML-based workflows to generate, validate, and package high-quality datasets.
• Build evaluation frameworks, measurement systems, and calibration processes to ensure project outputs meet client expectations.
• Configure and deliver custom applications or off-platform solutions for specialized client needs.
• Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot blockers, and maintain alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive technical innovation, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement in delivery processes and data pipelines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in data science or data engineering roles.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, and modern data tooling (e.g., pandas, Plotly, Streamlit, Dash).
• Familiarity with ML workflows, LLM-based pipelines, and applying machine learning in production contexts.
• Experience interacting with backend APIs and interpreting technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a client-facing, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and technical presentation skills.
• Current U.S. work authorization required; this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
