In this role, you will design and optimize voice-based conversational experiences for customer engagement platforms. You will create natural, efficient, and brand-consistent dialogue flows for IVR systems, virtual agents, and voice applications, working closely with developers, analysts, and clients. Your work will help customers achieve seamless interactions, reduce operational costs, and enhance satisfaction. This position requires strong bilingual skills, linguistic attention to detail, and experience with conversational AI platforms. You will also contribute to testing, fine-tuning, and improving the overall voice application experience, ensuring consistent tone, clarity, and user satisfaction. The role combines technical expertise, design thinking, and customer-facing collaboration in a dynamic and globally distributed team environment.
Accountabilities
- Design and document spoken dialogue flows and conversation scripts for voice applications, virtual agents, and IVR systems.
- Define user journeys, prompts, and error-handling logic to ensure natural and efficient interactions.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into detailed design specifications.
- Work with NLU and AI teams to fine-tune intents, conversation logic, and performance.
- Support testing, provide optimization recommendations, and ensure high-quality conversational experiences.
- Maintain consistency with brand voice and customer tone across all voice applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in project delivery, analysis, or related roles.
- 4+ years of experience in voice or conversational AI design (IVR, virtual agents, or call routing systems).
- Hands-on experience with Google Dialogflow or similar NLU platforms.
- Strong background as a business or systems analyst is an asset.
- Excellent writing skills and keen attention to linguistic details.
- Proficiency with diagramming tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
- Bilingual in English and French required.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
