The Associate Program Manager will play a key role in supporting healthcare staffing operations, ensuring smooth workflows and excellent service delivery. This role focuses on managing provider placement processes, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting Program Managers in executing staffing operations efficiently. You will work closely with internal teams and clients, leveraging VMS platforms to maintain data integrity, track compliance, and optimize operational performance. The position offers opportunities to contribute to reporting, analytics, and process improvements while developing expertise in healthcare staffing and workforce optimization. This role requires a combination of organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication to ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Accountabilities:
- Support Program Managers in daily locum staffing operations and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Manage provider placement workflows, including requisition, confirmation, onboarding, credentialing, and timesheet approvals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely submissions and compliance with contractual terms.
- Deliver accurate reporting and analytics tailored to client needs, focusing on fulfillment, agency performance, and operational insights.
- Maintain data integrity and operational workflows in VMS platforms, identifying and escalating operational risks as needed.
- Assist with special projects, implementation support, and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving escalated concerns and facilitating smooth operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of account management or administrative experience, with at least 1 year supporting MSPs or large clients.
- Experience working in VMS platforms and familiarity with onboarding, compliance, and credentialing processes.
- Previous locum tenens or healthcare staffing experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong business relationships at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
