Python/ Django Developer (Remote - India)

As a Python/Django Developer, you will contribute to building and maintaining high-performance web applications, working across both back-end and front-end tasks. You will tackle complex problems, design scalable solutions, and write clean, maintainable, and testable code. This role offers the chance to own projects end-to-end—from defining the problem, developing prototypes, and deploying code, to monitoring production systems. You will collaborate with a dynamic, cross-functional team in a fast-paced startup environment, applying best practices in web development, automation, and cloud deployment. Exposure to modern frameworks, databases, and cloud platforms will allow you to grow technically while making a direct impact on the product. Accountabilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain back-end services using Python and Django.
• Contribute to front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code while ensuring security and data protection.
• Deploy and monitor applications on cloud platforms like AWS, MS Azure, and GCP.
• Build automation scripts and cron jobs to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with the team using project management and version control tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket, GitLab).
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and follow best practices in software development.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in full-stack development, preferably in web/mobile startups.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django, with experience in building high-performance web applications.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, MS Azure, and GCP.
• Familiarity with relational databases, particularly Amazon RDS.
• Hands-on experience with version control and collaboration tools (GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Redmine).
• Ability to own projects end-to-end, from problem definition to deployment and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Integromat or similar is a plus.
