Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £75,000-£95,000 + Equity

Job Description: This role involves building the next generation of tools that enable materials scientists and manufacturers to leverage state-of-the-art AI vision models. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will own features end-to-end, from API design to user interfaces, ensuring seamless system integration. What you will do:

• Design and implement features across the full stack, from robust backend systems to intuitive user-facing product experiences

• Collaborate closely with designers, frontend developers, and ML engineers to translate complex user problems into working product solutions

• Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience within key areas of the application and infrastructure

The ideal candidate:

• 3+ years of experience building full-stack web applications with strong TypeScript proficiency across the stack

• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and building APIs integrated with cloud-based services

• Ability to reason about architecture, performance, and system design, balancing speed with craftsmanship
