We areseekinga highly skilled and motivatedAndroid AOSP Engineerwith deepexpertiseacross the full Android stack — fromHardware Abstraction Layer (HAL)through to theApplication layer. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in embedded software/firmware development, Android BSP, and AOSP customization. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest Android versions (preferably Android 14 and beyond), contributing to innovative embedded systems in the critical middleware space between low-level hardware and high-level applications.

Technical Requirements:
8+ years of professional experience in embedded software/firmware development.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Android AOSP development, including deep knowledge of HAL, Android Framework, and System Services.
Strong understanding of recent Android versions, features, APIs, and changes (preferably Android 14 or later).
ProficiencyinJava,C++, and experiencemodifyingcode inC.
Solid experience inEmbedded Linuxdevelopment (e.g., power management, display drivers, connectivity stacks like Wi-Fi/Bluetooth).
Familiarity with Android development tools and workflows, includingadb,fastboot,repo, and source control tools such asGit,Gerrit, andGitHub.
Good grasp ofnetworking protocols: Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, independent working style.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience withscripting languageslike Bash or Python.
Debugging and development experience within theAndroid Frameworklayer.
Familiarity with theNDK toolchain, building native libraries and components.
LinuxUser Spacedevelopment experience is a strong plus; LinuxKerneldevelopment experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities:
Work with Android source code and build system: synchronize repositories, manage branches and patches, integrate third‑party components, and resolve build issues and conflicts.
Modify and improveAndroidplatform and its components according to project requirements, including customization for specific hardware and product needs.
Develop, enhance, and test Android bootloader features, including boot optimization, recovery support, and system diagnostics.
Customize andmaintainthe Linux kernel and embedded components: configure Device Tree, integrate andmodifydrivers and embedded modules, and debug kernel‑level issues using logs and ADB.
Debug and diagnose software and hardware issues: analyze logcat anddmesglogs, use ADB and hardware debugging tools, document root causes and solutions, and track issues in a bug‑tracking system.
