Position Summary

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Manager role is a member of the JM Huber, Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) team. This role focuses on developing and implementing enterprise-wide DE&I programming, in partnership with each of the Huber Business Units. The DE&I Program Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and executing multiple enterprise-wide projects and programs for key strategic initiatives within the company through partnership with stakeholders from each Business Unit. This role ensures baseline and ongoing tracking to measure results. Priorities include:

  • Program Manager of all Global ERGs (Employee Resource Group)
  • DE&I Awareness & Learning Ideation and Implementation aligned with Huber Principles
  • Development and Implementation of enterprise-wide DE&I Communications strategy
  • Manage external partnerships, sponsorships and relationships to maximum usage and impact
  • Implementation of Global Huber Talks program
  • Lead and facilitate DE&I sessions and Huber Talks as needed
  • Development and maintenance of detailed Global DE&I Dashboard
  • Development of ERG (Employee Resource Group) Performance Dashboard

Flexible Work Arrangement: This position can either be fully remote within the US with frequent travel to Huber sites or can be hybrid out of the Atlanta, GA office.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the development, launch, and growth of the various Employee Resource Groups while ensuring budgeting & operational efficiency, coordination, and overall strategic alignment and execution
  • Provide effective direction, guidance and oversight to ERGs and their leadership teams
  • Coach Executive Sponsors and Co-Leaders to ensure maximum personal and ERG member development and impact
  • Ownership of ERG Talent Management – talent acquisition, development, succession, mentoring
  • Identify, create, and implement additional innovative DE&I solutions using business acumen, research, and industry insights to supplement current or planned programming and initiatives
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to develop and implement the DE&I Communication strategy
  • Network and develop relationships with professional organizations and practitioners with the aim of learning industry best practices and increasing our business and personal DEI-related acumen
  • Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with external peers, DE&I organizations, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate knowledge exchange and growth opportunities for Huber. Collaborate with external organizations to develop partnerships and sponsorships, including advertising, identifying event participants, coordinating registration, and soliciting post-event feedback to assess the return on investment (ROI) of these engagements
  • Provide recommendations for the development of educational/training content in support of our DE&I strategy including identifying impactful and topical speakers for DE&I programs.
  • Partner with others functions across the organization in support of the Global DE&I Strategic Plan
  • Manage the budget, forecast and actuals. Maintain budget, collect receipts, and ensure events and expenses are coded appropriately. Manage global expense reporting for DE&I team.
  • Manage the DE&I Data and Analytics Processes. Collect quantitative and qualitative data, manage the submission, monitor, evaluate and report on the progress, effectiveness and adoption of DE&I programs and initiatives and impact for increased visibility, participation and engagement. This includes internal and external surveys, reports, RFPs, etc.

Education, Specialized Knowledge & Required Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 5+ years’ experience or a Master's degree with 3+ years' experience managing multiple, simultaneous project(s) with preferred experience in an HR, DE&I, Talent Management, Learning & Development and/or Employee Engagement
  • Knowledge of establishing and leading large global programs and initiatives from inception to evaluation with proven organizational impact, sustainability and success while scaling for growth
  • Strong skills in the areas of program management, project management, time management, communication management, research, presentation delivery and relationship management
  • A passion or interest in building an inclusive and diverse environment where people can be their authentic selves and share their own diverse backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and ideas
  • Ability to demonstrate awareness and understanding of the business case for DE&I
  • A proven record of accomplishment of demonstrating professional maturity working with very confidential, sensitive information, views, and perspectives with high discretion
  • Effective and inclusive communication skills, both verbal and written and the interpersonal skill necessary to interface at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to build partnerships within the team and across internal partner and client groups in a complex, portfolio organization
  • A professional presence that is collaborative and team-oriented; able to effectively work across cultures, build trust easily and partner with organizational leaders
  • Able to conduct research and recommend industry best, next practices
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, including experience facilitating meetings and training and creating PowerPoint presentations from hourly employees to C-Suite
  • Prior ERG Leadership and/or experience a plus
