As a Solution Engineer at IXON, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical guidance to our clients, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization of our remote access and IIoT solutions. From initial exploratory discussions with machine builders to presenting conceptual solutions alongside our sales representatives, you’ll be at the forefront of driving project success. Following the conceptualization phase, you’ll transition seamlessly into supporting our clients throughout the implementation and utilization of our innovative solutions.

Within this role your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and guidance on product features and functionality;

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique requirements and recommend tailored solutions to meet their needs;

  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of IXON's remote access and IIoT solutions, ensuring smooth deployment and integration with clients' existing systems;

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to enhance their understanding and utilization of our products and services;

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, conveying client feedback, feature requests, and potential enhancements to drive product improvement;

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our offerings and support capabilities;

  • Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles, documentation, and other support resources to assist clients in self-service and troubleshooting.

Your success in this role hinges on your ability to level with clients, understanding their unique requirements, and translating them into effective solutions. By combining technical expertise with exceptional communication skills, you'll navigate complex challenges with ease, driving positive outcomes for both our clients and IXON.

In addition, it would also be nice if you identify with the following points:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience in technical support, solutions engineering, or a similar role within the software or technology industry.

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.

  • Familiarity with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies and concepts is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and support.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, workshops, and conferences.
