The position of Operations Specialist is crucial to the team's success. In this role, you will be a significant point of contact between the company and our vendors. You will be responsible for providing excellent support to the sales team while acting as a liaison between them and our vendors. Tasks include completing sales orders, invoicing, shipment tracking, handling of returns, reconciliation, AP/AR, among other duties. Experience working at a Value Added Reseller is a plus!
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Possess high-level organization and time-management skills
- The ability to work quickly and accurately in both independent and team situations
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, and the ability to learn new software
- The aptitude for learning new systems quickly
- Financial skills and background
- The ability to juggle a variety of tasks at the same time.
- Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic
Responsibilities include
- Provide excellent support overall to help complete any requests and resolve potential issues
- Support the sales team by completing the order process within our internal systems
- Invoicing of customers
- Receive vendor invoices
- Provide shipment tracking information to customers and Account Managers
- Work with the Accounting department to support accounts payable and receivable processes
- Work with customers and manufacturers to facilitate return requests
- Produce and distribute internal and external reports as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Physical Demands
- Sit at a computer for 8 hours per day
- Keyboarding for 8 hours per day
- Speaking (communicating information to clients/coworkers)
- Hearing Requirements (In person speech, telephone, other sounds)
Job Location:
- If local to the Phoenix, AZ area, job will be performed at a Phoenix location
- If located outside of a reasonable commute, job can be performed remotely
