A research analyst produces timely client reports that meet quality standards by conducting research and applying this to reports efficiently; Works closely with team leads and other Research Analysts to ensure that all client requirements are met.
- Ensures that reports are consistently in compliance with agreed quality standards; where reports are written in their native language, analyst should be capable of self-QC
- Ensures comprehensive coverage of data based on client requirements
- Keeps abreast of developments in assigned accounts and its related concerns in order to correctly align reports
- Keeps abreast of changes and updates in account briefs in coordination with team leads to ensure that all stakeholders are on the same page
- Ensures correct sending of reports to rightful recipients, complying with confidentiality requirement (if applicable)
- Constantly reviews feedback from clients and team leads and applies recommendations to improve report quality
- Participates in training sessions to continually sustain or improve levels of report production skills
- Consistently meets internal deadlines and client deadlines for reports
- Proactively ensures that measures are in place to avoid all preventable delays in report production
Requirements
- Degree/ postgraduate degree in Communications, Communications Research, Business or other related Social Sciences
- Excellent reading comprehension, writing and editing skills in Business English
- 1-2 ~ years experience in research and knowledge of socio-political-economic current events or industry assignment
- Self-motivated, results driven, with the ability to work in a team. Highly organized, good time management skill, respond to multiple requests within tight deadlines and strong attention to details with an interest in news and current affairs.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Office applications, GSuite and other analysis tools
- English. Proficiency in other local languages would be a plus
- Good communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with cross-cultural teams and with external parties
