About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mixed Linux system Administrator and DevOps administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This role is ideal for an early to mid-career professional. We’ll be very happy if you can bring some previous experience in Linux and scripting, with additional skills in monitoring, CI/CD and Python being a real bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Linux System Support: Assist in the day-to-day management and maintenance of Linux servers (primarily Debian/Ubuntu), ensuring they run smoothly and securely.
• Basic Scripting: Learn and contribute to simple automation tasks using scripting languages like Bash or Python, with guidance from senior team members.
• Monitoring Systems: Help set up and maintain monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios) to track system performance and uptime.
• Server Setup Assistance: Support the setup and configuration of servers in a data center environment under supervision.
• Issue Resolution: Participate in troubleshooting activities to help identify and resolve technical issues related to servers and applications.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with experienced IT professionals and developers to support ongoing projects and system improvements.

Qualifications:

• Some experience (internship, coursework, or personal projects) with Linux systems is preferred.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical environment.

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems, especially Debian/Ubuntu.
• Exposure to scripting (Bash, Python, or Perl) is a plus.
• Familiarity with system monitoring concepts or tools is helpful but not required.

Additional Skills:

• Interest in networking concepts (e.g., firewalls, routing, security).
• Willingness to learn Python programming or CI/CD tools.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
