Mithril is a protocol and network specifically designed for proof-of-stake blockchains. Its primary goal is to provide lightweight and secure access to blockchain data while ensuring a high level of security and decentralization. Mithril focuses on optimization, scalability, and interoperability, and has many applications. These include synchronizing data for both light and full-node wallets, as well as facilitating data exchanges with layer 2 solutions such as bridges, sidechains, rollups, and state channels.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will provide deep engineering expertise and work across agile teams in Mithril to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will leverage your knowledge to consistently challenge the status quo, innovate for business impact, and remain at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances. As a senior member of the team you are expected to mentor and grow other software engineers and act as a go-to person within the team and the wider organisation across multiple codebases and languages.

Cascading disruption
It is the founding principle of IOHK. Cascading disruption is the idea that most of the structures that form the world’s financial, governance and social systems are inherently unstable and thus minor perturbations can cause a ripple effect that fundamentally reconfigures the entire system. Our company is committed to identifying and developing technology to force these perturbations in order to push towards a more fair and transparent order.
