The Service Center Support Technician Tier 1 is responsible for providing technical support to service centers for any CST system(s) and/or equipment issues. The Service Center Support Technician position is primarily responsible for addressing service center concerns and questions regarding wiring diagrams, trouble shooting, product inventory as well as the servicing, removal, or installation of CST equipment utilizing multiple outlets both internal and external for technical research and information to resolve service center issue. The Service Center Support Technician stands as one of the first points of contact for service centers and will need to provide quality customer service as well as technical expertise.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide support to service centers answering installation and technical issues.
  • Receive calls and emails internally and externally providing technical assistance. 90% external/10% internal
  • Provide administrative support for services center troubleshooting and internal departments for technical expertise, log analysis, data review, etc.
  • Documentation of service center inquiries onto Intoxalock system of record.
  • At all times, provide exceptional customer service and the best possible experience when communicating with our Service Centers and internal departments.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required. Automotive or electrical certification, or license, or degree recommended (MECP,ASE, ABYC, etc)
  • At least one year of hands-on experience with 12-volt electrical systems, reading schematics, and troubleshooting automotive electrical systems recommended (Alldata, Prodemand, Directechs, etc)
  • Expertise focused on installation and servicing automotive alarm, remote start or similar systems preferred
  • Experience with problem solving using critical thinking and conflict resolution/de-escalation.
  • Detail orientated with strong communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc) and Adobe Acrobat
