United States onlyWe are seeking a highly motivated and technically accomplished Senior Staff Engineer to lead the design and development of our next-generation Risk Platform. This is a hands-on leadership role driving the technology vision and architecture for a unified, scalable, cloud-native platform that supports risk operations, credit underwriting, and finance risk management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering complex enterprise platforms.
- Deep hands-on experience in backend architecture, cloud computing (AWS and/or Azure), and container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Lambda).
- Strong experience building or contributing to risk platforms or systems related to fraud prevention, compliance, or underwriting.
- Demonstrated experience with traditional ML techniques and building production ML pipelines (e.g., feature extraction, model training, deployment, monitoring).
- Familiarity with Data Engineering and MLOps practices.
- Expertise in observability, incident management, and production system metrics.
- Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional communication, and ability to influence across engineering and product organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field; advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) preferred.
