Job Description

We are seeking an Applications & Workflow Consultant I who is responsible for successfully conducting Applications and Workflow analysis, training and optimization for Radiology IT solutions. The role will require current and future state Workflow Analysis, designing of future Workflow, determining applications optimization and configuration needs based on best practice methodologies and development and delivery of training plans for clinical and technical healthcare IT customer stakeholders including both super users and end users. This role will identify, file and follow-up on product features and issue requests associated with project implementations and be proactively involved in change management processes related to customer projects.
The focus and mission of this role is to deliver analysis, planning and implementation of workflow design and consulting as required and planning and delivery of training to customers so that they achieve the desired results at all stages of their journey with our products, realizing the full value of our software and services.
Responsibilities
• Conduct Current State Workflow Analysis (as required)
• Design Future State Workflow (including System Workflow and Department Process
Workflow)
• Determine application optimization within the department and provide the customer with
Best Practice methodologies
• Analyze unique configurations of customer sites and customize processes and training
accordingly
• Develop training plans and documentation
• Coordinate and provide Super User and Administrator application training
• Ensure that course completion certificates are supplied to customer sites in a timely manner
• Ensure that all Super Users and Administrators can train customer End Users and
understand any unique customer site requirements
• Provide Application Training and support to other staff from other groups as required
• Identify, File and Follow-up Product Features and issue requests during implementation
• Proactively involved in change management processes related to implementations
• Managing multiple projects at one time.
• Adapting and meeting the expectations of challenging customers.
• Frequent, often short-notice travel.
• Coordinate with Project Management team on implementation activities
• Proactively provides regular updates to PM’s and management
• Work cross-functionally with other teams to improve collaboration and efficiencies
Qualifications
Employment Prerequisites
- •Associate's degree in Computer Science, Health Science or Education and/or ARRT
- Certified Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in Healthcare or IT related roles
- Proficiency in healthcare software and data management systems
- Fluency in English and French
Desired Competencies
- Strong communication skills and ability to teach all types of learning styles in clinical applications
- Knowledge of enterprise level Radiology Healthcare IT solutions
- Ability to communicate and build rapport with internal management and other company personnel
- Strong clinical aptitude with the ability to understand clinical radiology workflow
- Strong problem-solving, technical skills and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours Requirements
• The working hours for this position will be determined by the needs of the business and
may vary accordingly. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet operational demands
Travel Requirements
• This position requires up to 75% of travel, mainly throughout North America and often on
short notice.
