We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and growth of our cutting-edge product portfolio.

As a Product Manager at Inspera, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategy, development, and success of our products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define and execute the product roadmap. You will work closely with our users and buyers in a B2B market, and focus on driving business outcomes through the evolution of the product.

You will have a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and industry best practices, which you will use to deliver innovative and user-centric capabilities. You’re a self-starter with intrinsic motivation, and great soft skills to collaborate across the company and different types of stakeholders. Your strong analytical skills, strategic mindset, curiosity, and passion for education technology will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Roadmap

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders and the development team.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Continuously monitor market dynamics and proactively adjust the product strategy as needed.

Product Development and Execution

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to validate and iterate on product features and design.
• Drive the agile product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
• Ensure seamless integration of the product with other systems and platforms.

Customer Engagement and Insights

• Engage with clients, prospects, and stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and use cases.
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to gather insights and validate product hypotheses.
• Act as a product evangelist, delivering product demonstrations, presentations, and trainings to customers and internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, gathering feedback and fostering long-term partnerships.

Product Performance and Optimization

• Define and monitor key product metrics and success criteria.
• Analyse data and user feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
• Track industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.

Organisation

You’ll be part of an international team distributed over several continents. You’ll work as part of a product trio with a Designer and a Tech Lead, and reporting to the VP of Product or a Group Product Manager. Remote candidates will be considered, preference will be given to candidates that are able to work from our Bangalore, India offices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Product Manager or similar role in a software or SaaS company. B2B experience is a plus.
• Experience in the Higher Education or Edtech industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and product management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with user-centred design principles and UX/UI best practices.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Passion for education technology and a deep interest in shaping the future of assessment and learning.
