You will on-board our global build framework to enhance the user experience of our customers and project teams.
You will challenge existing solutions to bring them to the next level and will support on-boarding entirely new and game-changing solutions.

NOTE: The position is Remote/Hybrid. However, it is required that in the case of a workshop, the candidate attends in person at the office in Cracow. Typically, such workshops occur a maximum of two times per year.
Your Role:
• Extend and improve an inner source project based on Bazel, that will be used by thousands of engineers around the world.
• Review and implement suggested code changes from external or internal stakeholders.
• Support project teams to on-board our global Bazel build framework.
• Advise project teams around Bazel.
• Create and provide training and share best practices with project teams on how to use Bazel.
• Create and provide documentation around Bazel and our global Bazel build framework.
• Troubleshoot issues. You will not always have to be able to solve them on your own. Your colleagues will be there to support you.
Your Background:
• You have an Information Technology degree or similar.
• You are experienced with any scripting language and you are not afraid to look into C/C++ code.
• You have knowledge and relevant experience with build environments, source code, and configuration management systems, such as Bazel/Make/CMake, GIT, Jira, and Docker.
• You are familiar with agile software development.
• You are experienced in analyzing and solving issues.
• You have good communication skills.
