Senior Shopify Developer (Shopify / Shopify Plus)

We are currently looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to take ownership of end-to-end e-commerce implementations built on Shopify / Shopify Plus.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced developer who can independently lead Shopify projects from concept to delivery — from building custom storefronts and Shopify applications to optimizing checkout experiences and overall platform performance.

In this role, you will work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality commerce experiences for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce solutions on Shopify / Shopify Plus

• Build and customize Shopify themes and storefront experiences

• Develop and integrate custom Shopify applications

• Implement and optimize checkout customization using modern Shopify capabilities

• Work with Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API, GraphQL)

• Build solutions aligned with Online Store 2.0 architecture

• Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, and SEO

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams

• Maintain high code quality standards using Git and CI/CD best practices

Must-Have Requirements

• Strong commercial experience as a Shopify Developer

• Excellent hands-on knowledge of:

  • Liquid

  • JavaScript

  • HTML / CSS

• Proven experience with:

  • Shopify APIs (Storefront API / Admin API / GraphQL)

  • Shopify Plus

  • Online Store 2.0

• Experience with performance optimization and SEO for e-commerce platforms

• Strong understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines

• Ability to independently own projects end-to-end

• Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with headless commerce architectures, including:

  • Hydrogen

  • Next.js

  • Remix

• Knowledge of:

  • Checkout Extensibility

  • Shopify Functions

• Experience with Shopify POS

• Exposure to React Native
