We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst to provide timely market updates, technical analyses, and reports on global financial markets. The role involves summarizing key market movements, conducting technical analysis, and contributing to research reports covering major currencies, stocks, commodities, and bonds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely, insightful market summaries and analyses throughout the trading day.
  • Analyse key financial data across United States (US), European, and Asian stock indices, bonds, commodities, and foreign exchange markets.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports on market trends, movements, and forecasts.
  • Conduct technical analyses on major currency pairs at designated times.
  • Develop weekly and special reports on key market events and emerging trends

Your typical day:

  • 9:00 AM: Provide a summary of US stocks, London Metal Exchange (LME) / Commodity Research Bureau (CRB) and New York oil and gold markets on previous day.
  • 9:40 AM: Compile and report on global stock indices, bond yields, and commodity prices
  • 10:00 AM: Deliver a mid-morning Tokyo foreign exchange market summary
  • 14:00 PM: Provide a mid-afternoon Tokyo foreign exchange market summary
  • 16:50 PM: Summarize the Australian/New Zealand stock and bond markets.
  • Throughout the day: Conduct technical analyses on major currency pairs

資格

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial market research.
  • Familiarity with global stock, bond, FX, and commodity markets.
  • Proficiency in technical analysis and understanding of market trends.
  • Ability to process and summarize financial data quickly and accurately.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex financial information into clear summaries.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver reports with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Proficiency in Japanese language (both written and spoken).
