Overview of the job

The Senior Affiliate Operations Manager is responsible for building and managing the operational backbone of Influencer’s Commerce division. This role owns the end-to-end execution of affiliate and social commerce infrastructure across networks and platforms, ensuring seamless integration, accurate tracking, and scalable performance delivery.

As a senior individual contributor, you will lead cross-platform affiliate operations across traditional networks and platform-native commerce environments, enabling the successful activation and growth of Influencer’s Affiliate Engine.

  • Build the operational backbone of a new Commerce division- you won’t be inheriting a legacy affiliate setup, you’ll be architecting and scaling the infrastructure behind Influencer’s standalone Commerce P&L from the ground up.

  • True cross-platform performance exposure- from traditional affiliate networks to TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, and Meta Commerce, this role sits at the center of a fully integrated creator-led performance ecosystem.

  • Work with top global brands at enterprise scale - you’ll operate at the center of affiliate and commerce programs for some of the world’s leading brands, ensuring their creator-led revenue ecosystems run seamlessly across networks and platforms.

Measures of success –

In the first few months, you would have:

  • Embedded into the Commerce team and built strong working relationships across Strategy, Sales, Client Services, Paid Media, and Finance.

  • Gained hands-on familiarity with our core platforms and tools including Impact, CJ, Rakuten, TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, Meta Commerce, and internal reporting systems.

  • Completed a structured audit of at least one active affiliate or commerce program to understand current setup, tracking, and operational workflows.

  • Supported the activation or optimisation of a live program, contributing directly to a seamless client-facing execution.

  • Identified early opportunities to improve tracking clarity, workflow efficiency, or platform integrations bringing proactive recommendations to the team.

  • Built confidence in how Influencer’s Affiliate Engine operates and how your role underpins enterprise-level delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own the operational management of affiliate and social commerce platforms including Impact, CJ, Rakuten, TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, and Meta Commerce.

  • Lead merchant onboarding, product feed integrations, tracking setup, and backend configuration across all commerce environments.

  • Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and commission implementation, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Execute commission structures, offer updates, and incentive changes in collaboration with Strategy.

  • Support seamless activation of newly sold commerce programs, translating commercial scope into clean, scalable platform execution.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with affiliate networks and platform representatives to troubleshoot issues and unlock efficiencies.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Strategy, Paid Media, Client Services, and Finance to protect margin, ensure reporting accuracy, and support enterprise delivery.

  • Contribute to the documentation and evolution of operational playbooks that scale Influencer’s Affiliate Engine.

What you will need:

  • 3+ years experience in affiliate, ecommerce, performance marketing, or social commerce operations.

  • Hands-on experience managing affiliate networks such as Impact, CJ, Rakuten, Awin or similar.

  • Direct exposure to platform-native commerce environments (e.g. TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, Meta Commerce), preferably including merchant setup or backend operations.

  • Strong understanding of tracking, attribution, pixel implementation, and commission structures.

  • Experience working within DTC brands, affiliate agencies, social commerce teams, or platform-side commerce operations.

  • A systems mindset. Able to build scalable workflows rather than operate tactically.

  • Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor, taking ownership without requiring constant direction.

  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple platforms.
